Role & Responsibilities:
As a Software Test & Delivery Engineer, you would
• Test new software features in a real-time Linux (or similar) OS environment.
• Develop automation test scripts using Python/TCL.
• Debugging and providing solutions for existing deployment.
• Write unit test specs.
• Driving Features to Deployment stage.
• Work closely with VPN Product development teams in other sites.
Education and Experience:
- Experience in Linux system software development
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
- Experience with some of the following is preferred: AAA protocols, openSSL, IPSEC, IKEv1, IKEv2
- Routing and networking knowledge including TCP/IP, UDP, NAT knowledge is a must
- Strong C/C++ programming and debugging skills in embedded real-time systems.
- Demonstrated experience with automation development in Python/TCL and automation environment
- Strong knowledge of Linux development tools (gdb, eclipse, buildroot, crosstool-ng, etc.)
- Experience with build systems including (Makefiles, building tool chains, gcc, etc.)
- Strong written and verbal communications skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with other individuals in groups such as engineering, test, customer advocacy, and product management.
Desired Skills
●Experience with Agile Development Methodology
●Experience with Cisco Cat6k, UCS, Nexus 7k and other Cisco hardware
●Knowledge of Security Test Packages such as Codenomicon is a plus
